Lin Wan, an emergency doctor, falls into deep自责 after a failed rescue and volunteers to transfer to a hospice ward to “hide”. As Lin Wan is touched by Gu Chuan’s “forced optimism”, she discovers he’s the younger brother of the accident victim years ago — his arrival was never a coincidence, but a two-way healing journey: those once saved by the light, now strive to become the light for others.
