Lin Wan, the 'fog guardian' of Ye Wu Alley in the old town, has lit the dilapidated streetlamp that's about to be demolished for ten years—neighbors say he's waiting for someone who'll never come. Until a rainy night, he finds Su Xiaotang, an amnesiac girl covered in wounds. She bursts into his loneliness like a warm light: filling his shabby rental with succulents, accompanying him to search for 'non-existent memories' in the fog, and even daring to hold his hand and say, 'I feel like I wanted to keep the lamp with you a long time ago.' But when Xiaotang's old photos are revealed—she's the little girl he saved from human traffickers ten years ago, and he lost his memory in a car accident while protecting her—Lin Wan finally understands: it's not that no one loves him in the night fog; it's that he trapped 'love' in the fog he created himself. And the person who walked through ten years of mist has long been standing under his streetlamp, holding their memories.
