Lin Wan, a burnt-out ad planner, flees to her grandma's mountain inn after a project failure. While sorting杂物, she finds her late grandfather's celadon wine jar and a half-page yellowed love letter—revealing his lost romance with Azhu, a mountain goods seller, torn apart by war. He'd murmured "wait for Azhu to drink this wine" on his deathbed. Then Jiang Ye, a quiet forester, checks in—his profile is identical to Grandpa's 20-year-old photo. Together, they search for Azhu with the jar, only to find a white-haired woman guarding an old tea grove at dusk: Azhu has waited a lifetime, becoming one with the hills. Lin fulfills her grandfather's regret and rediscovers her passion through Jiang. As they sip the aged wine facing the hills, Azhu's laugh floats in the wind: "Your story has just begun."
