In high school, Lin Xiaoman and Chen Mo fell in love secretly by passing notes, but Chen Mo suddenly disappeared before graduation. Ten years later, Xiaoman, now a publishing editor, finds Chen Mo for a youth-themed book—only to discover he has a fiancée, and he left back then because of a serious illness, fearing to burden her. They rekindle their old love but struggle between reality and the past. Finally, Xiaoman finds Chen Mo’s unposted letter from years ago: “I didn’t dare let you wait, but I never thought of letting you go.” Yet the regret of youth is already cold; those notes full of thoughts eventually become a story without an ending.
