Branded a traitor after being falsely accused of regicide, disgraced Imperial Concubine Shen Zhiyi flees the palace in a desperate midnight escape. Hunted by royal guards through treacherous terrain, she collapses from grave wounds only to be rescued by a mysterious healer. But the sanctuary proves to be an imperial trap when black-armored soldiers storm the clinic—led by the Emperor himself. With cold fury, he presses a blade to her throat, revealing her alleged poison required his own heart's blood as the antidicate. As she braces for death, an earthquake tears open the late Emperor's tomb miles away, exposing a bloodstained decree that implicates the current Empress Dowager—the very woman who once combed Shen's hair with motherly tenderness. The real game of thrones has just begun.
