Last Night the Flowers Didn't Sleep is a short drama integrating elements of overbearing总裁 (overbearing CEO), urban sweet romance, and fantasy. The full 32-episode finale tells the story of down-and-out千金 (daughter of a noble family) Lin Xiaoyu and the mysterious CEO Lu Chenzhou, who are entangled by a contractual marriage. Beneath the seemingly sweet daily life lies the mystery of a car accident ten years ago. When Lin Xiaoyu discovers that Lu Chenzhou is the "white-coat boy" who saved her back then, she is drawn into the intricate web of his revenge plan. The floral illusions in her fragmented memories and the mysterious jade pendant in her recurring dreams gradually uncover the fated bond between them across three lifetimes. The drama weaves together high-sweet kiss scenes and corporate scheming, with fantasy clues running throughout, staging a game of love and truth amid misunderstandings and redemption. The HE ending of mutual commitment interprets the core theme that "love can transcend time and obsession," satisfying female audience expectations for a sweet-and-sour plot.
