Su Xiaoguang, a picture book artist who lost her younger brother, stumbles into "Warm Sun Welfare Home" to find him, only to become a "quarrelsome couple" with Gu Yang, the welfare home director who's sharp-tongued but soft-hearted. He mocks her "sun drawings look like burnt coal" while secretly gluing her rain-soaked manuscripts back together. When Su finds clues about her brother's little pendant in the children's paintings, and when Gu's 20-year-old trauma of "being abandoned" is uncovered by her picture books, can these two people who warm themselves with "faint light" follow each other's glow to find their own "warm sun"?
