Su Xiaoman has secretly loved her cold boss Lu Shiyan for three years, writing unsaid feelings on sticky notes and sticking them on her desk every day. When the company announces relocation next week, she finally musters the courage to write a gilded confession letter, planning to hand it to Lu before leaving work. But the day feels like a joke from fate—the letter is thrown into the trash by a cleaner, retrieved after rummaging through the bin only to be taken as a contract by a client. When she finally catches up to the client, out of breath, she sees Lu standing downstairs in the office building, holding a stack of crumpled sticky notes, his eyes reddening as he smiles: "I've saved your 'Perfect Day to Confess' for three years, just waiting for you to take this step."
