Lin Xiaoman runs an old bookstore in an old alley. While sorting out ancient books one day, she finds an old notebook with dried flowers tucked inside. Every page has a "Word of Renewed Heart" that hides deep intentions, corresponding to the regrets and wishes of different strangers: delivering a love letter for a timid teenager, apologizing to a brother who has been estranged for years, making up for the guilt of a father who missed his daughter's growth. Xiaoman tries to fulfill these wishes and surprisingly helps many people realize their dreams. Until she meets a man with exactly the same handwriting as the notebook on a rainy night, she is shocked to learn that the original owner of the notebook is her first love who left without saying goodbye ten years ago, and every word hides his ten-year-delayed confession.
