Lin Xiaoman, a socially anxious copywriter, is forced to go to a mask night market for a client meeting. Wearing a fox mask to hide her nervousness, she accidentally clashes with Gu Shen—who’s in a silver wolf mask—over a sweet lotus root. Under the masks, they open up about workplace anxiety and childhood shadows, promising to meet without masks next time. But when Xiaoman meets the new client director the next day, she’s shocked to find it’s Gu Shen—the “silver wolf” from last night. Gu Shen recognizes her too, but doesn’t reveal it. Caught between their “real identities” at work and “soul resonance” at the night market, can they break the mask barrier and embrace this “mutual honesty” encounter?
