Forest ranger Lin Mo is ordered to guard the primeval forest famous for the legend of "The Forbidden Mountain Edict", and unexpectedly finds an abnormal AI recorder left by his teammate who disappeared three years ago. Every late night, the recorder emits intermittent distress calls, while the headquarters repeatedly issues suspicious orders of "no going deeper". To find out his teammate's whereabouts, Lin Mo risks entering the hinterland of the forbidden mountain, only to discover that behind "The Forbidden Mountain Edict" lies a covered-up scientific research accident from twenty years ago, and even his own identity is closely tied to this conspiracy—he has become the key link in the game.
